Ou Yang Coffee is named after Mr. Ou, the owner of Chiliarch Coffee Farm, located in Jiangcheng Hani and Yi Autonomous County in Southern Yunnan, near China’s border with Vietnam and Laos. Spanning 78 hectares, the farm plays a vital role in providing employment opportunities for the diverse ethnic groups in the region.

Mr. Ou is deeply passionate about coffee and the well-being of the communities involved in its cultivation and processing. He views the production of high-quality coffee beans as a powerful means to help lift local hill tribe members out of poverty.

We are very happy to welcome Chinese coffee back to our offering again this year, we think this could be the best yet. Expect intense flavours of strawberry and tropical fruit, balanced by caramel wafer and gently savoury notes in the aftertaste.

Amelia G. ★★★★★

The natural process really lets the cherry fruitiness come through, and the P4 catimor handles it beautifully. I brewed a batch from the March harvest and it’s been my go-to morning cup all week.

Miles ★★★★★

First sip and the natural process really shines through—it’s sweet and clean without being overpowering. The catimor beans from that 1,250 MASL altitude in Yunnan definitely bring a unique profile I haven’t tasted before.

Ruby ★★★★☆

The natural process really comes through here—it’s got that deep, fruity sweetness without being too funky. Brewed it as a pour-over and it held up nicely, though I wished the finish lingered a bit longer. Solid cup for the price.
