Vorig jaar bezochten we Jardines del Edén, een boerderij die net zo mooi is als de naam doet vermoeden. Gelegen in de heuvels van Quindío, creëren de vulkanische grond, constante regenval en het koele microklimaat de perfecte omstandigheden voor buitengewone koffie. Onder leiding van Felipe Arcila, een vierdegeneratie teler die de grenzen van koffieverwerking verlegt, is de boerderij een broedplaats van innovatie.

Deze partij bevat Sidra, een zeldzame variëteit met Ethiopische erfgoedwortels. Een kruising van Typica en Bourbon, bekend om zijn wijnachtige zuurgraad, gelaagde zoetheid en delicate botanische tonen—die de levendigheid van deze baanbrekende boerderij in elke slok vastlegt.
