The prestigious Hacienda San Isidro Labrador returns from producer Matías Monge. Located in the high-altitude microclimate of Copey, Dota at 1950 masl, this farm is a powerhouse in the specialty coffee world. The Monge family has a storied history of excellence; Matías’s Gesha secured a Top 3 spot in this year’s Cup of Excellence, following his multiple wins in previous competitions.

This specific lot is a 100% Gesha that undergoes an extended fermentation washed process. This meticulous technique refines the variety’s inherent elegance, resulting in a cup that is both fruit driven but also refined and clean. On the palate, expect a classic Gesha profile: a sweet foundation of Mango and Jasmine tea, elevated by the bright, effervescent acidity of Passion Fruit, a truly delicious coffee.

Carter E. ★★★★★

First sip hit me with mango and jasmine all at once—so bright and floral it’s almost like a tea. The 1950 masl altitude really shows in that clean, lingering finish. I’ve already ordered another bag.

That jasmine note hits you right as you open the bag, way before brewing. The mango and passionfruit come through bright and clean in the cup, and it’s easily the most complex coffee I’ve had from Costa Rica this year.

Hazel P. ★★★★★

I was skeptical about the price per bag, but the mango note up front is genuinely bright and clean, and that jasmine finish lingers just long enough. The anaerobic wash really lets the sweetness come through without any harshness. I’ve already ordered another bag.
