Adam C. ★★★★★

I’ve had my espresso machine dialed in for a week, and this Red Catuai from Dutra Estate is the first bag that’s made me slow down and actually taste the cup. The natural process gives it a sweet, full body that holds up beautifully with milk, even at this altitude. I’m already ordering another bag.

Came from Matas de Minas and the altitude range really shows—this Red Catuai natural is sweet and round, no harsh edges. I’ve had it as both espresso and pour-over, and both held up nicely. Harvest timing is clean, too.

Lily ★★★★★

The natural process really brings out the sweetness in these Red Catuai beans—I’ve been brewing them as a pour-over and the body is surprisingly rich for an 800-1,300 masl lot. It’s a solid everyday coffee from Matas de Minas that I’ll probably order again.
