Brewed this washed Catimor as a pour-over and the green apple tartness hit right up front, then settled into a clean, limey finish. The altitude really shows in how crisp and bright the cup stays even as it cools. Solid daily driver for anyone who likes their coffee with some bite.

Honestly wasn’t expecting a washed Catimor to be this bright, but the green apple crispness hits right after brewing and stays clean as it cools. At 1600 masl, this feels like a proper Yunnan coffee that doesn’t need sugar. My new everyday bag.

The lime note really comes through in the finish, bright and clean, just as described. It brews up a crisp cup that’s perfect for a morning pour-over, though I wish the green apple was a bit more present. Solid everyday bean from Yunnan at this altitude.
