케냐는 고품질의 완전 세척 커피로 유명하며, 70만 명 이상의 소규모 농가가 각각 1-2헥타르에서 재배합니다. 이 농가들은 커피 체리를 가공하는 '팩토리'를 운영하는 협동조합으로 조직되어 있습니다. 농가들은 선호하는 습식 제분소를 선택할 수 있으며, 이는 품질에 기반한 경쟁을 촉진합니다. 품질이 높을수록 경매에서 더 좋은 가격을 받아 농가의 수익이 높아지기 때문입니다.

Thiririka Farmers Cooperative Society(FCS)는 Githembe, Kiganjo, Ndundu의 세 곳의 팩토리를 운영합니다. 1,500명의 활동적인 농가가 점토질 양토에서 SL 28, SL 34, Batian 품종을 재배하며, 펄핑과 세척을 거친 후 건조를 위해 Kiganjo로 파치먼트를 운반합니다. 수확은 10월부터 12월까지이며, 선적은 3월부터 4월까지 이루어집니다.
