I’m not usually one for washed coffees, but this Arara from Cabo Verde changed my mind completely. The September harvest comes through in every sip, clean and incredibly sweet with a finish I kept chasing. Already ordered another bag.
The altitude really shows here—950 masl gives it a clean, bright acidity that cuts through nicely. I brewed it as a pour-over and the washed Arara came out tasting crisp and refreshing, perfect for a morning cup.
The sweetness on this one surprised me—clean and almost honey-like despite being a washed process. Brewed it as a pour-over at around 950 meters altitude, and the body stayed silky from first sip to last.
