I brewed the first bag this morning and the cup was so bright and clean it made my usual drip coffee feel dull by comparison. Having two different AA-grade lots from the same co-op is a nice way to taste how the harvest varies side by side.
The AA-grade beans from the Thiririka co-op brew up so clean and lively, I actually look forward to my morning cup now. That duo pack gives me two distinct expressions of the same Kenyan terroir, which is a fun little tasting journey for a weekday.
The citrus brightness in the first bag really woke up my morning, and the second one has this deeper, almost wine-like finish that’s perfect for slow sipping. Both beans are AA-grade from the Thiririka cooperative, and you can taste the care in every cup.
